When we built our streaming platform with WCAG AA as a hard constraint from day one, the product got better for everyone.
Focus indicators made keyboard navigation faster for power users. High contrast ratios made text readable on cheap TVs in bright rooms.
The Process Change
The key was treating accessibility as a design constraint, not a remediation task.
